The 3Com 3C16470B is the revised Baseline 2016 switch, an unmanaged 16-port 10/100 Fast Ethernet switch aimed at small to midsize office networks. As with the original 3C16470, all 16 ports auto-negotiate speed and duplex and support automatic MDI/MDIX cable detection.

The 2016 platform is rack-mountable in a 19-inch rack or usable as a free-standing desktop unit, requires no configuration to operate, and provides IEEE 802.1p prioritisation with two traffic queues. The “B” revision reflects a hardware refresh of the original 3C16470 rather than a change in port count or functionality.
