The HP J9019B ProCurve Switch 2510-24 is a fanless, managed Layer 2 switch built for quiet-office and access-layer deployments. It provides 24 auto-sensing 10/100 RJ-45 ports plus 2 dual-personality Gigabit ports that operate as either 10/100/1000Base-T copper or mini-GBIC fibre uplinks, alongside a dedicated RJ-45 console port.

The switch runs on a MIPS32 processor clocked at 264 MHz with 8 MB of flash and 64 MB of SDRAM, giving an 8,000-entry MAC address table and 8.8 Gbit/s of switching capacity across a 384 KB packet buffer. Its fanless 1U chassis keeps noise down in open-plan offices while still delivering managed VLAN, QoS and port-security features.
