The 3Com Switch 4800G PWR 24-Port (3CRS48G-24P-91) is a Layer 3 managed Gigabit switch built for wiring closets that need routing as well as switching. It offers 24 10/100/1000 Mbps tri-speed ports, four of which are combo ports shared with SFP fibre, plus two rear expansion slots for 1- or 2-port 10-Gigabit modules for high-bandwidth uplinks or stacking.

Every port delivers Power over Ethernet at the full IEEE 802.3af 15.4 Watts, supporting IP phones, wireless access points and PoE cameras directly from the switch. The 4800G PWR combines full unicast/multicast Layer 3 routing with Layer 2 switching, IPv4/IPv6 support, VLANs, IGMP/MLD snooping, ACLs and DoS protection, and can be clustered for simplified stack-style management.
