Alcatel-Lucent 3AL94247AA 1626 LM Power Supply

The Alcatel-Lucent 3AL94247AA is a PSUP1000 power supply unit for the 1626 Light Manager (1626 LM) DWDM long-haul transport shelf. It converts the site’s -48V DC telecom power feed into the regulated internal supply rails used by the shelf’s optical amplifier, mux/demux, supervisory and control cards. The 1626 LM supports dual power feeds for redundancy, and this module forms part of that resilient power architecture, allowing continued shelf operation if one supply path or module fails. It is a hot-swappable, field-replaceable unit, so it can be serviced without disrupting live optical traffic passing through the rest of the shelf.
