Huawei H801CITD SmartAX MA5603T Telecom System Card / Module

The Huawei H801CITD is a Combo Interface Transfer Board used in the SmartAX MA5603T DSLAM/OLT access platform. It provides a universal interface point for the chassis, including an ESC (embedded system control) port, seven digital alarm input channels and one digital output for controlling parameters, plus an external monitoring Ethernet port that transparently passes monitoring data through to the management system. When fitted with the optional BITSB clock daughter board, the CITD can additionally support building integrated timing supply (BITS) clock distribution functions for the chassis, extending its role beyond simple interface transfer into site-level timing synchronisation. As a shared interface board within the MA5603T platform, the CITD sits alongside the system’s main control and service boards, providing the physical alarm and external-monitoring connectivity that would otherwise need to be wired directly into individual service cards. Because the MA5603T has been deployed at scale in broadband access networks, tested secondary-market CITD boards are a common field spare for restoring alarm and monitoring interface functionality.
