The Huawei SSN2PQ1A02 is a PQ1 63xE1 PDH tributary service processing board for the Huawei OptiX OSN 3500 (and related OSN/NG-SDH) optical transmission platform. The PQ1 board processes E1 tributary signals and overhead bytes, reports alarms and performance events, and supports TPS (Tributary Protection Switching) for service resilience. It is configured on source and sink network elements as a tributary board to add and drop E1 services within SDH-based transmission networks, and provides electrical interfaces (via D75S, D12S or D12B interface units) for connecting external E1 circuits into the OSN chassis.
