The Juniper OC3/OC12-ATM is an ATM line module for the Juniper ERX edge router family (E-series). It carries ATM over SONET/SDH at OC-3/STM-1 or OC-12/STM-4 rates, with four OC-3/STM-1 ports or one OC-12/STM-4 port depending on the I/O adapter fitted. The optical connections are made on that I/O adapter at the rear of the chassis, for example the OC3-4SM-I/O four-port single-mode adapter, while the line module sits at the front.
