The Juniper SCBE-MX-S-E is an Enhanced Switch Control Board (SCBE) for the Juniper MX240, MX480 and MX960. It carries one 10GbE port and one clock-external port, an expansion-module slot, and a 5.12 Tbps switching capacity, aimed at higher-capacity Carrier Ethernet deployments than the standard SCB. The -E suffix is the hardware revision. It sits in the control-plane path between the Routing Engine and the rest of the chassis.
