It links a T1600 line-card chassis to the TX Matrix Plus switch fabric and is used together with the F13 SIBs. The -B suffix is the hardware revision. It sits in the control-plane path between the Routing Engine and the rest of the chassis. It is a field-replaceable unit, supplied as a spare or an upgrade for an existing deployment.
