The Juniper SRX3K-SFB-12GE-A is a Switch Fabric Board (SFB) for the SRX3000-series (SRX3400 and SRX3600) Services Gateway, providing 8 x 10/100/1000Base-T copper ports and 4 x Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports. The SFB carries the high-speed backplane connectivity between the Services Processing Cards (SPCs) and I/O Cards (IOCs) inside the chassis, so switch fabric capacity scales with the number of SPCs, NPCs and IOCs installed. It is a hot-pluggable, hot-insertable field-replaceable unit designed for tool-less removal and replacement without powering down the chassis.
