The Juniper FEB-M120-D is a Forwarding Engine Board (FEB) for the Juniper M120. The M120 separates its packet-forwarding complex onto FEBs rather than the FPC that carries the PICs, and supports up to six FEBs for enhanced redundancy. The -D suffix is the hardware revision. It sits in the control-plane path between the Routing Engine and the rest of the chassis. It is a field-replaceable unit, supplied as a spare or an upgrade for an existing deployment.
