The Mitel 9141-300-001-NA is a power supply for the Dataset range of RS-232 data-interface units used with the SX-200 and SX-2000 ICP telephone systems (the 11xx, 21xx and 22xx Dataset families). It supplies the regulated power a Dataset unit needs to operate independently of the host digital line it shares with its associated Superset telephone. As a spare, it replaces a failed or ageing Dataset power supply during maintenance of an existing data-interface position, without requiring the whole Dataset unit to be replaced, and is a common item on sites with several Dataset positions in daily use.
