The Mitel 9150-6146 is a spare 48V external telephony power supply for the Mitel NuPoint Messenger Model 70 voicemail and unified-messaging chassis. It supplies the regulated 48-volt telephony rail the system’s line cards need to present loop-start, DSE and E&M ports at standard line voltage, external to the Model 70’s own internal chassis power supply. As a spare, it replaces a failed or ageing telephony power unit during routine maintenance of an existing 7-slot Model 70 installation, restoring line-card operation without a wider system rebuild.
