Nortel EB1639170: Secure Network Access Switch 4050, enforcing endpoint compliance and access policy before LAN admission.

The Nortel EB1639170 is a Secure Network Access Switch 4050, an edge-security switch from Nortel’s SNAS range that enforces endpoint compliance and network-access policy before a device is admitted onto the LAN.

Nortel’s Secure Network Access Switch range remains deployed in networks with policy-based access control requirements that have not migrated to a newer NAC platform, and genuine units and spares are still sought to keep an existing deployment running. Specifiers should confirm their required software release and licensing before ordering.
