The Nortel NTAK79AA is a 2 Mbit/s PRI card. A 2 Mbit/s primary rate interface terminates a 30 channel ISDN circuit on the PBX, which is the standard European trunk connection between a switch and the public network or another site.

Meridian 1 is Nortel’s large enterprise PBX family, later continued as Communication Server 1000.
