The 3Com 3C16665 is a LinkBuilder FMS II Fiber Optic Hub with six ST-connector ports, part of 3Com’s LinkBuilder FMS (Fiber Multiport System) hub range. It provides shared-media 10Base-FL connectivity over multimode fibre, used where distance or electrical-isolation requirements ruled out copper cabling, typically linking a wiring closet to a central hub over building risers.
