The ADVA 0061000163 is a pluggable remote (line-side) CWDM interface for ADVA’s FSP CWDM transport platform, covering the 1470nm to 1610nm portion of the CWDM ITU grid – the upper half of the standard CWDM wavelength range. “Remote” on an ADVA pluggable of this kind identifies the line-side optics fitted to a channel card, as distinct from the local (client-side) pluggables also in our stock (see ADVA 0061000058 and 0061000056).

A remote interface transmits the card’s already-multiplexed CWDM wavelength onto the line fibre toward the far end of the span, so the specific wavelength within the 1470-1610nm range needs to match the channel plan the rest of the shelf is built to.
