The ADVA 0063305004 is an STM16 (2.5 Gbit/s SDH) DWDM channel card for the ADVA FSP-3000, the Extended Reach variant fixed to the 195.30 THz ITU DWDM channel in the C-band. As with the rest of this card family, the extended-reach build uses higher transmit power and receiver sensitivity than the standard card, letting it close a longer span before an inline amplifier becomes necessary.

One channel card handles one wavelength on an FSP-3000 shelf, so a working system is assembled from several of these cards on adjacent ITU channels plus shared mux/demux and control modules. A genuine spare at this exact frequency is needed where the corresponding wavelength must be restored or added.
