The ADVA 63207101 is an MDXM module for the ADVA FSP Fibre Service Platform. MDXM is ADVA’s DWDM multiplexer and demultiplexer card: it combines the individual wavelength channels generated by the channel cards onto a single line fibre, and splits them back out again at the far end of the span.

On FSP 2000 shelves, MDXM cards are supplied in banded variants covering a fixed group of channels, so the wavelengths a given card handles are set by the hardware rather than configured in software.
