The Allied Telesis AT-8326GB is a managed switch with 24 ports of 10/100BASE-TX, two GBIC expansion slots and a further two fixed 10/100/1000BASE-TX ports, part of Allied Telesis’s AT-8000 (CentreCom) series. This mix gave a wiring closet standard Fast Ethernet desktop ports, fixed copper Gigabit ports for nearby servers, and a choice of fibre uplink type via the GBIC slots, all from one unit.
