The Allied Telesis AT-MX20T is an AUI-to-twisted-pair transceiver conforming to IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T, a legacy ‘micro transceiver’ from Allied Telesis’s early CentreCom-era product line, used to convert an older AUI-only Ethernet port to a standard RJ45 10BASE-T connection. It remains a spares item for keeping legacy AUI-based equipment running on modern twisted-pair cabling rather than replacing the host device outright.
