The Dell TP68P is an Aruba W-AP277 outdoor wireless access point supporting 802.11ac with data rates up to 1.3 Gbps on the 5GHz band. This ruggedised unit is designed for deployment in external environments where standard indoor access points would not withstand the conditions.

The W-AP277 is part of Dell’s partnership with Aruba Networks, providing enterprise-grade outdoor wireless coverage for campus networks, warehouses, outdoor public spaces, and industrial facilities. It integrates with Aruba mobility controllers for centralised management and policy enforcement.

This model represents an earlier generation of outdoor 802.11ac access points from the Dell/Aruba collaboration. While superseded by newer Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E outdoor models, the W-AP277 remains a capable solution for extending wireless coverage to outdoor areas where high-density client support is not the primary requirement.
