DELL V2X9F Networking Datacentre Switch

The Dell V2X9F is a PowerConnect W-AP175PAC outdoor access point (Aruba AP-175AC), a hardened dual-radio 802.11n unit built for wireless coverage in exposed and industrial locations rather than the indoor office. It carries two 2×2 MIMO dual-band radios that operate concurrently at 2.4GHz and 5GHz, delivering data rates up to 300Mbps per radio, and provides four N-type connectors for external antennas so coverage can be tuned to the site. The PAC variant is AC powered and supplies an 802.3af Power over Ethernet source on its Ethernet interface. Its sealed, weatherproof enclosure withstands temperature extremes, moisture and airborne contaminants, which suits it to campuses, storage yards, warehouses, container terminals and transport facilities.

The W-AP175 series is managed through a Dell Networking (PowerConnect) W-Series controller and also supports Remote AP (RAP) and secure enterprise mesh modes. Developed by Dell in partnership with Aruba Networks and now discontinued, it remains a practical choice for maintaining or expanding existing outdoor Dell wireless infrastructure.
