KRC11894/1 Ericsson Ericsson Radio System Radio Remote Unit

The Ericsson KRC11894/1 is a Radio Unit Single (RUS 01) designed for Band 12 (700 MHz) LTE network deployments. As a single-band remote radio unit, it handles the RF transmission and reception functions at the antenna site, connecting back to the baseband unit via fibre or copper CPRI links.

This radio unit is part of Ericsson’s Radio Access Network (RAN) portfolio, specifically engineered for macro cell site deployments operating in the 700 MHz spectrum. Band 12 is commonly used for LTE coverage in North American markets, offering excellent propagation characteristics for wide-area coverage and in-building penetration.

The RUS 01 series represents an earlier generation of Ericsson’s remote radio head technology.
