The Ericsson MMU2 C is a modem and modulator unit revision within Ericsson’s MINI-LINK point-to-point microwave transmission system. It belongs to the same MMU2 product family already supplied by Tech-Star under full Ericsson material numbers, and provides the same core function: modulating digital traffic onto the radio-frequency carrier for transmission and demodulating the received signal on an Ericsson MINI-LINK hop.

It plugs into an Ericsson AMM equipment magazine alongside a node processor and power units, interfacing to an outdoor radio unit (RAU) to complete a microwave transmission hop. The “C” revision designation distinguishes it from earlier and later hardware/firmware builds within the MMU2 range (such as MMU2 B and MMU2 D).
