The Ericsson ROA2195062/1 is a CM 12/16 channel module designed for 12/16 kHz metering pulse signalling. This module enables the transmission of metering pulses at either 12 kHz or 16 kHz frequencies, which are used in telecommunications networks to signal call charging information to subscriber equipment or payphones.

The CM 12/16 module is typically deployed within Ericsson AXE switching systems and related telecommunications infrastructure. It provides the interface for generating and detecting metering tones that were standard in European PSTN networks for charge pulse transmission during active calls.
