The Ericsson ROJ208314/1 is a CL890 CGB (Central Group Board) module designed for use within Ericsson’s AXE telecommunications switching platform. This board serves as a critical control component within the central processor group, handling signalling and system management functions essential to the operation of mobile and fixed-line switching centres.

The CGB module is integral to AXE-based Mobile Switching Centres (MSC) and Gateway MSCs deployed by mobile network operators worldwide. It forms part of the APZ processor subsystem, which manages the real-time processing demands of voice and data switching in large-scale telecom networks.

The AXE platform, including the CL890 series boards, represents legacy Ericsson infrastructure that has been widely deployed but is now considered end-of-life.
