FORE Systems ACCA0081: 115/230V power supply for ForeRunner ATM switching equipment, built by Astec (PSE6-115/230-018).

The FORE Systems ACCA0081 is a power supply unit for ForeRunner ATM switching equipment, built by the power specialist Astec under its PSE6-115/230-018 designation (Astec part 73-610-018). It accepts 115 or 230 volt AC mains input and provides the regulated DC rails a ForeRunner chassis requires, making it the standard replacement when a switch loses its supply or a site wants a spare on the shelf.

FORE Systems’ ATM product line passed to Marconi in 1999, so hardware from this family is documented under both names. ForeRunner equipment of this generation remains in service in established ATM deployments, where a working power supply is the cheapest way to keep a proven switch running.
