Huawei 030NXV OptiX Telecom System Card / Module

The Huawei 030NXV is a TN14FIU01 Fiber Interface Unit (FIU) for the Huawei OptiX OSN 6800 and OSN 8800 optical transport platforms. The FIU multiplexes and demultiplexes the optical supervisory channel (OSC) with the main-path DWDM signal, allowing management traffic to travel over the same fibre pair as the payload wavelengths. It sits at the line side of a WDM node, combining the signals onto the outgoing fibre and separating the OSC again on the receive side, with low insertion loss and high channel isolation. The board also supports input and output optical power detection to aid commissioning and fault location, and it works alongside the OSC processing boards in the subrack. TN14 is one of the TN11 to TN21 hardware versions of the FIU. Tech Star supplies the 030NXV as new or refurbished stock for the maintenance and expansion of in-service OptiX OSN networks.
