Huawei WP13DPUC OptiX Telecom System Card / Module

The Huawei WP13DPUC is a DPUc, a Data Processing Unit board for the Huawei BSC6900 base station controller and the RNC6900 platform. As a service processing board it handles user-plane and control-plane traffic within the controller subrack, providing the throughput that manages calls, packet sessions and mobility across the connected GSM and UMTS radio access network. It is a processing board, not an optical transmission or control card. The DPUc installs in a PARC subrack alongside the switching (SCU), clock (GCU) and operation and maintenance (OMU) boards, and controller capacity scales with the DPU boards installed. Data Processing Units are a common maintenance and expansion spare for operators running BSC6900 and RNC6900 equipment.
