The Huawei 03998010 is an SSE3OAUC01C C-band Optical Amplifier Unit (OAU) for the Huawei OptiX OSN 6800 optical transport platform. The OAU is an erbium-doped fibre amplifier (EDFA) that amplifies the multiplexed DWDM signal along the optical line, and its two-stage design provides a mid-stage access point for a dispersion compensation module (DCM), making it suitable for long-haul and metro spans. Operating in the C-band, the board provides gain to compensate for fibre and node insertion loss, with per-port optical power monitoring for commissioning and performance management. It installs in OptiX OSN 6800 subracks alongside the platform’s booster, pre-amplifier and line boards. Tech Star supplies the 03998010 as new or refurbished stock for the maintenance, repair and expansion of in-service OptiX OSN DWDM/OTN networks.
