The Huawei H8014SCUB is an H80-series Super Control Unit Board (SCUB), the core system control card for Huawei’s SmartAX MA5600T-family OLT platforms (MA5600T, MA5680T, MA5683T and MA5608T). The SCUB acts as the core of system control and service switching/aggregation within the OLT chassis, and can also function as the management and control core linking the device to the network management system (NMS). The board communicates key management and control information with the other service boards in the subrack via a master/slave serial port and an inband GE channel, and comprises a control module (managing boards and communicating with the fan tray), a power module (supplying the board’s other functional modules) and a clock module (providing timing for the board).
