The Huawei 03022XTN is the H901MPLA main control board for the SmartAX MA5800 optical line terminal. It is the control and switching core of the shelf, handling system configuration and management, aggregating traffic from the PON service boards and presenting the uplinks, with 4 x 10GE on this variant.

The MA5800 is Huawei’s distributed-architecture access platform for GPON and NG-PON fibre-to-the-premises networks, and the H901MPLA is used in the MA5800-X7, X15 and X17 subracks. This is fixed access equipment: it does not belong to the Quidway or CX600 routing ranges, nor to the OptiX OSN optical transmission line, and boards are not interchangeable between them.
