It monitors the power module, back board status and subrack temperature of the PSM subrack, reporting status back to the system for fault detection and alarm purposes. Each SGSN9810 cabinet houses four PSM subracks of 21 slots each, and this board is one of the standard functional units fitted into that subrack architecture.
