The Huawei KW35URCU0 (URCUB) is a subrack control unit in the Packet Service Module (PSM) subrack of the Huawei SGSN9810 Serving GPRS Support Node platform, a 3G/UMTS core network node used to support GPRS and UMTS packet-switched services. It performs bus mediation, board configuration and board maintenance for the PSM subrack, and controls switchover of URCU boards; the UACU board assists the URCU in controlling service processing boards in the same subrack. Each SGSN9810 cabinet houses four PSM subracks of 21 slots each, and this board is one of the standard functional units fitted into that subrack architecture.
