Huawei LE02SRUA S9300 series (S9306/S9312) Telecom System Card / Module

The Huawei LE02SRUA is a Switch and Route Unit A (SRUA) main control board used in the Huawei S9300 series Ethernet switches, specifically the S9306 and S9312 chassis variants (the equivalent board for the S9303 is designated LE0MSRUA/LE0MMCUA). As the main processing and control unit of the switch, the SRUA is responsible for system-level control plane functions including switch fabric management, routing protocol processing and overall chassis supervision, working alongside the switch’s line/interface cards to deliver the S9300’s Ethernet switching and routing capability. This particular VER.A hardware revision of the LE02SRUA does not support the Cluster Switching System (CSS) feature that allows multiple S9300 chassis to be stacked and managed as a single logical switch, a capability that was added in later main control unit revisions, so it should not be assumed to be a drop-in replacement where CSS is in use. The S9300 series was widely deployed by Huawei as a campus and metro Ethernet switching platform, and tested secondary-market SRUA boards remain a common field spare for maintaining existing deployments.
