The Huawei SL91EM6TA is an EM6T Ethernet electrical interface board for the OptiX RTN 950/950A microwave IDU. It provides six electrical Ethernet ports, four Fast Ethernet and two Gigabit Ethernet, all RJ45, for carrying packet services across a Hybrid or Packet microwave node. The Gigabit interfaces operate at 10/100/1000 Mbit/s with auto-negotiation and MDI/MDI-X auto-crossover. This is an all-electrical Ethernet board, not an optical transmission module; the optical equivalent in the RTN 900 family is the EM6F. It installs in a service slot of the RTN 950 chassis and works alongside the CSH system-control and switching board. The board is used in mobile-backhaul deployments to hand off Ethernet traffic to and from the microwave link.
