The Huawei TNH1SP3DB01 is an SP3D interface board used in Huawei’s OptiX OSN 1800 I Enhanced, OSN 1800 II Enhanced and OSN 1800 V optical transport platforms. The SP3D board is a 42-port E1/T1 electrical interface board, transmitting and receiving up to 42 E1/T1 PDH tributary signals. It processes the incoming E1/T1 signals and their associated overhead, reports alarms and performance events back to the network management system, and provides maintenance functions for the tributary ports it serves. The SP3D board allows the OSN 1800 platform to add and drop large numbers of PDH E1/T1 circuits alongside its SDH/OTN transport capacity.
