The Huawei 2103054886 is a UMPTb2 (Universal Main Processing and Transmission Unit, revision b2) board for Huawei’s BBU3900/BBU3910 baseband unit. Like other UMPT boards, it is designed for Huawei’s SingleRAN multi-mode platform and can support GSM, WCDMA and LTE simultaneously, acting as the main control, clock and transport hub for the base station and coordinating the baseband and RF boards installed in the same subrack. The b2 revision follows on from the b1 hardware iteration within the UMPT family, retaining the core E1/Ethernet transmission, system O&M and control functions of the board type. UMPT boards are widely deployed across Huawei’s multi-mode base station rollouts and remain a key maintenance and capacity-expansion spare for operators consolidating GSM, UMTS and LTE onto shared BBU3900/3910 hardware.
