The Huawei WD2DLBBPD100 (LBBPd1) is an LTE baseband processing unit for Huawei’s BBU3900, BBU3910 and BBU5900 distributed base stations. As part of the LBBP family of LTE baseband boards, the LBBPd1 processes uplink and downlink LTE baseband signals and provides CPRI ports for communication with the base station’s remote radio units. It is fitted within the BBU subrack alongside the platform’s main processing and power interface boards to deliver LTE/4G capacity at a cell site. The LBBP family (LBBPc, LBBPd1 through LBBPd4) covers a range of LTE processing capacities, with the D-series boards used for higher-capacity or multi-carrier LTE deployments.
