The Huawei WD2MWRFU81 is a WRFU (WCDMA Radio Frequency Unit) operating in the 2100MHz band, an indoor RF module for Huawei distributed base station platform. It performs the radio-frequency transmit and receive functions of a 3G NodeB, converting baseband signals from the BBU into the modulated RF carriers fed to the antenna system and processing the received uplink signal. The WRFU connects to the BBU3900 over a CPRI optical interface and is installed inside the BTS3900 cabinet rather than at the antenna, serving cells that use 2100MHz UMTS spectrum. It provides the power amplification and filtering stage of the radio path. Supplied refurbished, the WD2MWRFU81 is a direct-fit spare for maintaining or expanding installed Huawei WCDMA base stations.
