The Huawei WD5M21395900 is an RRU 3959 Remote Radio Unit designed for operation in the 2100MHz frequency band. This unit handles radio frequency transmission and reception at the cell site, connecting to the baseband unit via fibre optic CPRI links to deliver wireless coverage and capacity.

The RRU 3959 is deployed as part of Huawei’s distributed base station architecture, where remote radio units are installed at or near the antenna while baseband processing is centralised.
