The IBM 09P5894 is recorded as a 645 watt power supply, marked RS on the supplier data for the RS/6000 range it belongs to. RS/6000 was IBM’s POWER based UNIX server and workstation family, later renamed pSeries and then folded into Power Systems, and its machines are still found in industrial and laboratory settings where the application outlived the hardware cycle.
