The IBM 15R6709 is a Distributed Converter Assembly (DCA), variant DCA-SQ, a point-of-use DC-DC power conversion module fitted within IBM’s Power Systems and zSeries power distribution architecture. Like the related DCA-BCS, DCA-CXE and DCA-EZ variants, it converts a frame’s bulk DC supply down to the voltage a specific drawer or subsystem requires.
