The IBM 74Y9523 is a 387GB Multi-Level Cell (MLC) SAS 6Gb/s 2.5-inch solid state drive, SFF-1 form factor, for IBM i. It fits a 2.5-inch SFF-1 drive bay on eligible IBM Power servers running IBM i, providing solid-state performance for I/O-intensive workloads such as journaling or high-transaction database volumes where mechanical disk latency is a bottleneck.
