The IBM 95P3669 is an MCA (media changer) assembly, specifically the 3584-L23/L53 medium changer card pack, for the IBM TS3500/3584 tape library. It carries the control electronics for the library’s robotic cartridge handler, which physically moves LTO tape cartridges between storage slots and the drive bays, so a fault here can stop the whole library’s automation even though individual tape drives keep working. It is the same physical component as the closely related part 95P4883 in our range.
