The IBM 95Y3311 is a Flex System Fabric EN4093R 10Gb Scalable Switch, designed as a high-performance Ethernet switching module for IBM Flex System chassis environments. This switch module delivers 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity within the blade server enclosure, providing internal switching fabric for compute nodes and uplink connectivity to the data centre network infrastructure.

The EN4093R is engineered for deployment within IBM Flex System Enterprise Chassis (formerly PureFlex), serving as a critical networking component that connects blade servers to external networks. It supports scalable bandwidth aggregation and is designed to integrate with IBM’s converged infrastructure management tools for unified administration of compute, storage and networking resources.

This is a legacy product from IBM’s Flex System platform, which has been succeeded by newer converged infrastructure solutions. However, the EN4093R remains relevant for organisations maintaining existing Flex System deployments or requiring replacement components for in-service chassis. This unit is available in refurbished condition.
