The Intel C41421-003 is a PRO/1000 MT dual port server adapter, a two port copper Gigabit Ethernet card on a PCI-X interface. Each port is an auto negotiating 10/100/1000 Mbit/s 1000BASE-T connection on RJ45, and the two can be teamed together, or teamed with other Intel PRO server adapters, to give either aggregated bandwidth or failover across the pair.

It ships with a swappable low profile bracket, which is what allowed a dual port card to go into 1U and 2U rack servers where slot height is limited. Cards of this generation are still called for when an older server needs its network side repaired or expanded and the original driver stack has to be preserved. Confirm your slot is PCI-X or conventional PCI rather than PCI Express before ordering, since the two are not compatible. Refurbished.
