The JDSU PLRXPL-VI-S24-22 is a multi-rate SFP optical transceiver originally designed by Picolight, which JDSU acquired in 2007. It runs at 1.063, 1.25 and 2.125 Gbps from an 850 nm VCSEL with an LC duplex connector, covering 1000BASE-SX Gigabit Ethernet along with 1G and 2G Fibre Channel over multimode fibre to 550 m. Digital optical monitoring is supported, so the host can read live power and temperature figures from the module.
