The Juniper P-4E3-QPP is a four-port E3 IQ PIC for Juniper M-series routers. Each E3 port runs at 34.368 Mbps, the European third-level PDH rate. The QPP suffix marks an IQ PIC built on the Q Performance Processor, which adds per-queue quality of service. It installs in a Flexible PIC Concentrator (FPC) slot, where the PIC handles framing and signalling for its media type before traffic passes to the Packet Forwarding Engine.
